Beyond I.D.entity_

‘Beyond I.D.entity_’ is a multidisciplinary, multimedia and community participation project that provides a creative platform for international students to explore their identities and develop storytelling skills in arts. Through the process of experimenting with chocolate painting, music, photography, theatre, filmmaking and sensory storytelling, they found their creative soul in arts. It is not just about arts, it is also about getting to understand themselves deeper, learning about each other’s experiences, and connecting with one another and the wider community. And they wondered as many of us did, ‘where do we belong?’

Going beyond the conventional exhibition or gallery spaces, their artworks have lived and breathed in public places at the Ivanhoe Library and Arts Hub, the stories told and shared in mysterious wonders. Now, they continued to present who they are beyond ‘international studens’ in the online space.

It is an opportunity for you to start a curious journey, immerse yourself in their artworks, feel who they are, reflect on your identity, challenge the perception of stereotypes of international students and free your imagination.
